If you are a lady, or if you like ladies, perhaps you want to meet some great Boston-based gals for supercharged networking. If that’s the case, clear your calendar and plan to spend Friday night at the Women 2.0 Founder Friday from 6-9 in the NERD Center in Cambridge.

Hosted by Beth Marcus, CEO and Founder of Playrific, and Bettina Hein, CEO and Founder of Pixability, with a special introduction by Rachel Weiss, from sponsor L’Oreal USA- Women in Digital, the event brings together current and aspiring entrepreneurs, technologists and investors for a night of networking.

Women 2.0 is an organization which aims to increase the number of female founders, specifically in technology startups – something every city needs. The media company delivers quality content, a strong community and great events to bring women together. With a stellar line-up of founders and advisors, Women 2.0 truly empowers women to take the helm at leading companies.

Take a peek at the guest list – there are some powerhouses planning to attend (truly some of Boston’s best). If the amount of brilliance overwhelms you, I’d encourage you to go and to strike up a conversation; these women really want to meet you and learn your story. Many are nervous to network as well, but something magical tends to happen. These women gather and elevate the whole group while they help one another find new amazing opportunities or advise you on how to create your own.

The Women 2.0 network knows the power of strong women in charge. (Oh and fellas, I’m convinced the brightest of your bunch would be in attendance – it’s a great place to meet an ambitious woman.)
