Do you want in?
On Sunday, December 9th at 5pm, join Joanne Change and Nicole Rhode, Flour’s Executive Pastry Chef, plus hungry bakers at famed Flour Bakery and Cafe in Cambridge to take part in a good old fashioned cookie swap. At the 3rd annual cookie swap, all proceeds will support Room to Grow (http://www.roomtogrow.org/).
All the delicious details if you want to attend:
1. Bake and bring 2-4 dozen cookies, plus your own empty cookie holder for those you’ll take home. Make sure to label the cookies (particularly if they have nuts) with the name/type of cookie, and ingredients.
2. Donate $30 – or any denomination you’d like to donate to Room to Grow, an organization which helps enrich the lives of newborns to three year olds born into poverty. To reserve a spot, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP and make your donation.
Before the swap kicks off, Joanne and Nicole will do a brief introduction before opening up the floor for an up-close-and-personal Q&A. Then, the delicious swapping begins!
What a fantastic way to spread some holiday cheer, bring joy to a local charity, and be sure to expand your waistline this year! Flour hopes to donate at least $1200 for the program this holiday season so be generous with both your wallet and your baking skills.
