Looking for something to help get you into the holiday spirit despite the morning’s mid-50s temperature? Head out to the Beacon Hill Holiday Stroll tomorrow (December 6th) from 6-9 pm.
If you get there on the early side, you can catch Victorian carolers, plus a strolling brass quartet and buggy rides. For those with kiddos, Santa will be around for pictures between 3:30 and 6:30, before the neighborhood tree lighting at 7:15. The neighborhood tree is at the corner of Charles and Mt. Vernon streets.
The real draw, however, is the window shopping of Beacon Hill boutiques. Many stores lay out a complementary assortment of wine, hot cider and treats to make the event even more appealing! It’s a fun way to get out of the house, cross some gifts off your list and people watch.
Take your girlfriend or grab a group of girlfriends and make a night of it at delicious nearby restaurants like Scampo, Toscano, Bin 26, Grotto, the Tip Tap Room or one of the last remaining Upper Crusts.
