Come dressed to impress as Prince, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or Sylvester Stallone for a dramatic night of music, drinks, and art. During the reception, DJ Knife, DJ Nite Train, and DJ Paul Foley will be mixing music of the ‘80s for a fantastic throwback party.

First Fridays are a series of evening art events held on the first Friday of the month from 5-10pm. This Friday night will be a ‘80s theme party to celebrate the new exhibition This Will Have Been: Art, Love & Politics in the 1980s.  The show is a dramatic one, recounting the creative turn art took within the 1980s spurred from political and controversial events taking place at this time.  Abandoning traditional techniques of painting, “photography challenged the primacy of painting and sculpture”.

ICA First Fridays are free to members of the ICA, and only $15 for non-members. Admission includes gallery admission, free tours of the “This Will Have Been” art exhibit, and a glass of wine or beer.

This is a steal… admission to the ICA is normally $15 without any freebies!

The event is 21+, and usually sells out so pick up your tickets!
