Well, it was fun while it lasted. According to the Globe’s Glen Johnson, Amazon is expected to announce that shipments to Massachusetts will get hit with local taxes.

Looks like it’s back to taking 93 to Nashua to save a few pennies (although, talk to me offline sometime about my love of Amazon Prime and why it makes it worth continuing your online shopping).
According to Boston Magazine, the tax will begin being applied in November 2013.
