If you want to do a little good while hobnobbing with Boston’s tech elite, plan to attend TUGG Boston’s charity wine party at the Cyclorama in the South End. The event, held Thursday, January 31st from 5:30pm to 11pm, aims to celebrate and spread social entrepreneurship in the New England Area.
TUGG – or Technology Underwriting for Greater Good – has been around since 2006. This year’s event is on track to double the amount raised for the 2012 party, bringing in $200,000. The party, sporting an impressive list of sponsors and hosts will support six non-profits: Revolution of Hope (@revofhope), Future Chefs (@FutureChefs), Technology for Autism Now (@tech4autismnow), Build Boston (@BUILDinBoston), Innercity Weightlifting (@feinmanjon), and Science from Scientists (@DoctorErika).
If that doesn’t make your socks roll up and down, the flowing wine and Avion tequila should. The event was a hell of a good time last year, and this year should be no different. Buy a last minute ticket here. And see you there!
