Imagine this: Saturday, a bevy of Boston’s best bars (and dives!) and bowties.
A dapper group of fellows is behind one of this weekend’s more creative events, a bar crawl that makes its way through downtown, all dedicated to the fine art of bow ties. Jason Jammallo, one of the gentlemen behind the BowTieOneOn Charity Crawl, tells us “the idea is to focus more on having a good time while dressing well and visiting some of the finer establishments Boston has to offer.”
The Yelp page has the full list of bars, and the guys even put together a slick Google map – everything kicks off at the W Lounge at 5:00 p.m. on this Saturday, April 6:
The event is paired with Friday Night Supper, and they will be taking a suggested $5 donation to benefit the organization from everyone that joins in the crawl. You’ll also see some prizes and giveaways courtesy of Cooking for a Cause and some fresh new ties from Boston’s own shop, OoOtie. Plus, live updates on location, photos, and lots of etc during the crawl, you can’t go wrong following on Twitter.
As the saying goes, deal with it.
