The MBTA has announced that the CapeFLYER–a new high speed branch of the commuter rail–will be introduced this season with an inaugural run on Memorial Day weekend. The Flyer, which will continue through Labor Day, will depart from South Station and sail smoothly into Hyannis in around 2 hours–a dream come true for anyone who has dealt with Friday night/Sunday night traffic trying to get over the Sagamore or Bourne. Roundtrip tickets will cost $35 per person.
