All of the focus in town is certainly on the Stanley Cup Bruins and the First Place Red Sox, but, somehow feeling out of the loop, the Patriots went and made a pretty big media-friendly move of their own. Late yesterday afternoon, reports indicated that the team was to sign former Heisman winner, playoff hero and Mark “Butt Fumble” Sanchez backup Tim Tebow.
50-50 this works out for the team, as they won’t certainly be relying on Tebow as the future QB. As a special package, special teams and potential receiving threat at Tight End or Full Back, though? Things could be interesting.
Oh, great wizard Bill Belichik, what are you DOING.
