How I Met Your Mother Never Had Anything to Do With Boston
Just a reminder: there is zero connection between How I Met Your Mother (the television show that concludes its 9 year run this evening) and the city of Boston. Like, no mention whatsoever. The closest thing we can find is the fact that the pilot was screened at Boston College prior to its debut in 2005. It’s also on TV in Boston this evening on WBZ at 8:00 p.m.

Northeastern 101 and Jay Z
In response to Dave’s BC-loving “Happy” video post last week, I present “Northeastern State of Mind.” Northeastern invented the set-a-fun-video-to-a-popular-hip-hop-song thing back in 2010. But we did it grassroots style. If you need cribs notes for the Northeastern-themed references, let me know. Crazy to think that even some of the references aren’t relevant to the Northeastern students now. Note — the Burger King turned into a Panera in 2011. RIP Burger King.
