By now you could be addicted to the Climate Central tool that forebodes flooding destruction. The sliders show that if the sea level rises just 5 feet in 10 years, South End residents of Boston will not only have waterfront property, but may also be living Venice style using gondolas to get to and from Mass Ave.

Proposed Development of Boston’s Christian Science Plaza
The Globe reported yesterday that Carpenter & Co. will be developing the land near Boston’s Christian Science Plaza. The proposed towers aim to remove the dead space between the Christian Science Center and the Prudential Complex and begin The First Church of Christ, Scientist’s Plaza Revitalization Project.
The larger of the two towers will stand at 50 stories, containing a hotel, condos, retail, and restaurants. The second structure at 20 stories tall will include apartments and added retail space. “The city has already approved the broad outlines of the project, and construction could begin by the end of this year,” states the Boston Globe.
